Day 1: Starting Cultural & Game Viewing Safari in Uganda

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, your driver guide receives you and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, the most beautiful protected area in Uganda. We have a lunch stop at Masindi after which we proceed to the top of magnificent Murchison Falls. This is where the world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Great Rift escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below.

Day 2: Wildlife Viewing in Murchison Falls National Park of Uganda

Have breakfast in the morning then go for your first Game drive in Uganda. We game watch north of River Nile on the Buligi, Albert and Queens in the company of a trained ranger guide. View a variety ofSavannah wildlife; Giraffes, Antelope species, Lions, African Elephants, Leopards, several cats species, Reptiles and a variety of Savannah woodland birds. After lunch, you go for the spectacular launch cruise on the a Nile for more game viewing at close quarters. This is a paradise for Hippos and Nile Crocodiles. Day 3: Game Viewing to Kibale Forest For Chimpanzee Trekking

Have a whole day drive from Murchison Falls National Park via Hoima, through verdant countryside, traditional homesteads and farms to Kibale National Park for the Chimpanzee Trekking experience.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Uganda

You have breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Tourist centre where tourist activities begin. A ranger guide briefs Chimp trackers on the tracking and forest conduct before setting off for this memorable experience.

Kibale National Park is a home to the endangered Chimpanzees  and the best place to track them in Uganda. Kibale National Park boosts of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa, namely; Man's closest relatives, the Chimpanzees, the threatened Red Colobus monkey, Black-and-White Colobus, Blue monkey, Pottos, Red-tailed Monkeys, Grey-cheeked Mangaby, Varvet Monkeys, Baboons name it. After lunch, there will be an optional nature walk to the Bigodi Wetland. The walk is a community based activity set up to enable tourists give back to the community and yet enjoy the nature offered by the swamp like the many colorful butterflies, birds and a variety of plant species.

Day 5: Uganda Tour to Crater Lakes at Kibale Forest National Park

You will have breakfast before proceeding to the crater lakes. Enjoy the beauty of the numerous small lakes, surrounded by gentle hills, and stunning views. Take a hike at Lake Nkuruba to encounter different species of primates and birds, and visit the Mahoma Falls. Meet the local people as you walk through their villages. Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for Game Viewing

Have breakfast then embark on the tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park of Uganda. On the way, look out for Waterbucks, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety Savannah Birds. Have lunch on arrival and in the afternoon, enjoy the unique Launch cruise on Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip sails through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos, a congregation of Pelicans, Cormorants, Gulls, Terns, Sand Pipers, Lapwings and other species of water birds. Expect to see more game on this cruise. In simple words, this cruise is an excellent platform for photography, birding and Game viewing.

Day 7: Game Viewing in Uganda

The day begins early as the tour leads to the mating ground of the Uganda kobs. Search for the famous tree climbing lions of Ishasha, Elephants, Buffaloes and several other wild animals in their natural habitats. On return, we have lunch then rest during the heat of the day and in the evening an optional leisurely walk around the Mweya peninsular for Warthogs, Birds, Banded Mongoose just to mention but a few will be a productive alternative.

This morning, you will have another game drive, hope to see more Savannah Wildlife possibly missed the previous day, besides, it is more exciting watching the famous tree Climbing Lions of Uganda for another time. Therefore we have our breakfast served early and with our luggage we board our Safari vehicle. We carry packed lunch as it is our plan to head to Bwindi the home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas for Gorilla Trekking.

Day 9: Mountain Gorilla Tracking Tour in Uganda

Have Breakfast and with packed Lunch report to the ranger station for registration and a briefing by the a ranger guide on matters regarding Gorilla tracking and forest conduct, then you will be taken into the sanctuary to enjoy the beauty and freshness of the forest yet the home to over a half of the world’s Mountain Gorillas for your tracking experience.

Gorilla tracking takes 1– 8 hours, it depends on how long it takes to meet these wild gentle giants, some fitness is required. On meeting the Gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them. Imagine an experience, sitting among the gorillas amidst the forest, listening to them grumble to each other! An optional guided village walk to the local Batwa community will be available in the evening for the interested members.

Day 10: Transfer to Uganda's Deepest Lake- Bunyonyi

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. The tour drive through Kigezi terraces, look at the magnificent-looking scenery arriving Bunyonyi in good time for lunch.

You can spend the evening in rest or have a boat ride or a Nature walk or any activity of your choice. All costs are include on the safari.

Day11: Lake Bunyonyi Uganda Safari

Today, you will do leisurely activities among which shall include; Bird Watching, Swimming, a village walk to the Batwa and Bakiga communities. All cost part of the safari cost.

Day12: Uganda Wildlife Tour to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a lunch stop in Mbarara town. We arrive in the Afternoon, relax for a while then go for an optional game drive through the fringing swamp area. View Zebras, the rare and shy Sitatunga Antelope, Topi and the gigantic Eland.

Day 13: Transfer to Kampala Via the Uganda Equator

After breakfast, you will take an interesting nature walk in the guidance of a game range. This park boosts of the best Nature walks and it’s only here that you can view Game on a walk.

After the walk, we embark on the journey back to Kampala with a brief stop at the equator for photographic opportunities and the Equator experience.

Day 14: Kampala City Tour 

The tour starts at 07:00hours. We start with a visit to the Royal Colonial Parliament Of Buganda "Bulange" and then to the Kabaka/Kings Lake. The lake is man-made and yet a perfect spot for bird watchers. We continue to the Uganda Museum before having lunch at Garden City, a modern shopping mall in the City.

After Lunch, we head to Namugongo for the Uganda Maytrs Shrine. These were martyrs of Christian faith who were burnt to death on the orders of a Buganda King between 1885-1887.
Finally you will get cultural entertainment/exhibition at the Ndere center in the evening

Gorillas Tracking & Queen Elizabeth Safari in Uganda 5 Days

Day 1: Game Viewing Tour Queen Elizabeth National Park of Uganda

Today we set out to Uganda’s second largest National Park will start, the park was named after Queen Elizabeth of Britain. We have a brief stop at the equator for photographic opportunity and the Equator experience standing in both hemispheres.
We proceed through grasslands with banana plantations and herds of stunning Long-horned cattle of Ankole. In the evening and time favouring we might take a tour to the traditional salt mining area at Katwe.

Day 2: Game Viewing Uganda - Uganda Wildlife Safari

We wake up quite early, catch coffee and a muffin then head for a game drive with the intention to meet the early risers and nocturnal hunters returning to their hideouts. We lead to the to the LEK- a mating ground of the Uganda Kobs in search of the famous Tree Climbing Lions, African Elephants, Cape Buffaloes, Hippopotamuses, Hyenas, Leopards, Waterbucks, just to mention but a few of of over ninety species mammal list known to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After the game drive, we return for breakfast and relax while we wait for the fascinating Launch Cruise on Kazinga Channel after lunch. The Launch Cruise is expected to get you to a close range with the highest concentration of Hippos and many other animals drinking by the waters edges. For Birdwatchers and photographers, this is heaven. After the Launch Cruise, one is free to rest or have walk around the Mweya peninsula for Warthogs, Banded Mongoose, Waterbucks and more.

Elgon Mountaineering Trip - 10 Days

Mt. Elgon is an extinct volcano that first erupted more than 24 million years ago. With the largest surface area of any extinct volcano in the world (50 km by 80 km), Mt. Elgon is the fourth highest mountain in Eastern Africa, with the second-highest peak in Uganda- Wagagi at 4321 metres. Mt. Elgon holds a crater covering 40 kms at the top of the mountain, surrounded by a series of rugged peaks.

There are no serious risks of altitude-related illnesses that regularly afflict hikers on the upper slopes of the Mount Kilimanjaro or Kenya therefore aspirant hikers need to be reasonably fit, with no specialized equipment or skills to reach the peaks.

Mountain Elgon can be hiked at any time of the year, though the dry season (June-August and December-March) are the best times. The most favourable months are November and December when the highland flowers are in bloom. Warm clothing's are highly recommended.

Have breakfast, head towards the volcano caldera, and descend to Mude Cave camp at 3500 m. through Jackson summit and the Jackson pool. 14 to 19 km has to be hiked today. According to the paths taken, the hike lasts approximately 11 hours.

DAY 7: Hike to Wagagai the Highest Point on Mount Elgon

Hike to Wagagai peak with the highest point on Mt Elgon at 4321metres ASL. We pass through Jackson Lake, this is a 9 hours hike covering the 18 km return trail.

DAY 8: Descend Mount Elgon to Jackson Peak

In 5 hours, Jackson peak at 4165 MASL could be done. In the afternoon, descend to Sasa River camp at 2900 MASL.

After breakfast, descend from the volcano and reach Budadiri village at 1250 m passing through wall of death “Mudange cliff”.

On arrival, you will be met by your guide at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a moment with the re-introduced magnificent White Rhinos. Day 2: Uganda Wildlife EducationCentre (UWEC) Visit

UWEC used to be known as Uganda Zoo but today it is a wildlife education centre, therefore you will have a brief introduction to game before meeting them in the wild.

Good birdwatching can be experienced here; usually at the end of the day over 100 bird species are ticked-off. Species include; Common Ostrich, Peacock, Olive-bellied Sunbird, White-chinned Prinia, Grey-capped Warbler, Grey Parrot, Palm-nut Vulture (Vulturine Fish Eagle), Common-ringed Plover, Great Reed Warbler, Klaas's Cuckoo, Northern Crombec, Tambourine Dove, Cameroon Sombre Greenbul, Little Grey Greenbul, Grey Woodpecker, Northern Puffback, Scarlet-chested Sunbird, Common Bulbul, Double-toothed Barbet, The Speckled, Yellow-fronted and Yellow-rumped Tinkerbirds, Eastern Grey Plantain-Eater, Orange Weaver, Long-tailed Cormorant, Black-headed Weaver, and many more.

Day 3: Mabamba Wetlands Uganda Birding Tour

After breakfast, your birding experience to the Mabamba Swamps will start. Birding here is done canoeing on a big scale. A variety of species to be seen may include; The elusive Shoebill (probably Africa’s most sought after bird for birdwatchers), White-faced Whistling-duck, Fulvous Whistling-Duck, Goliath Heron, Purple Heron, Common Squacco Heron, long-toed Plover, African water Rail, Grey and Black Headed Herons, Striated Heron, Pygmy Goose, Yellow Billed Duck, Black Crake, Swamp Moorhen, Allen's Gallinule, African Jacana, and many more. You could also see the Sitatunga, a swamp antelope and much more of wildlife.

Day 4: Tour to  Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, and with packed lunch, we get on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park- the most beautiful protected area in Uganda. We pass by the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a moment with these re-introduced magnificent White Rhinos. The Rhinos were poached to extinction in the country in the 1970’s, thanks to the government and nature enthusiasts for the re-introduction. We proceed to the top of the iconic Murchison falls from which the park gets her name; this is where the world's longest river (River Nile) explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Great rift escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below.

Day 5: Game Viewing in Murchison Falls National Park

Start the day with an early morning Game Drive on the Buligi, Albert or Queens tracks north of river Nile, View a variety of wild game like Rothschild’s Giraffe, a number of Antelope species, African Lion, African Elephant, a variety of savannah grassland birds, just to mention but a few. At 14:00hrs after lunch, it is time for a launch cruise for game viewing at close quarters; this is a paradise for hippos and crocodiles and, a fascinating birdlife among which might include the Shoebill- Africa’s most sought-after-bird.

Day 6: Tour to Kibale National Park - The home of primates

Have breakfast and with packed lunch be driven through verdant countryside, past traditional homesteads and farms to Kibale National Park. This will take you through the homes of the people in the typical Uganda villages.

After breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Tourist centre where tourist activities begin. You will be briefed by a ranger guide then set out to track man’s closest relatives, the Chimpanzee in the forest. The Kibale Forest National Park is a home of the endangered Chimpanzee and boosts of having the highest concentrations of primates in East Africa and probably Africa since the potential competitor- the Congo forest has been poorly researched. Other primate Species include the globally threatened Red Colobus Monkey, Black and White Colobus, Blue monkey Bush Babies, the Nocturnal Potto and Galagos name it. From the tracking experience, you will have then nature walk to the Bigodi Wetland. Here is a community based activity that was set up to enable tourists give back to the community and yet enjoy the nature offered by the swamp like many colorful butterflies, birds and other plant species. This is another moment with the natives of the area hence take a look at their way of life

Day 8: Crater Lakes Tour

You will have breakfast before proceeding for an exploration of the crater lakes. Enjoy the beauty of the numerous small lakes, surrounded by gentle hills, and the stunning views. Take a hike at Lake Nkuruba to encounter different species of primates and birds, and visit the Mahoma Falls. Meet the local people as you walk through their villages.

Day 9: Kibale Forest National Park- Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will chill around the camp and in the afternoon you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On entering Queen Elizabeth, expect seeing Waterbucks, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. This Park has the highest record of mammals in the country and is the second in size after Murchison Falls National Park

Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for Game Viewing

The day begins early as we head for the mating ground (lek) of the Uganda kobs, search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other big and small game in their natural habitats. We return for lunch and in the afternoon get on the unique launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This lingeringly cruise takes you through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals are often seen drinking at the water's edge. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and birdwatching too.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth - Bwindi Forest National Park

We have breakfast and with packed lunch, we go for another game drive for more game, possibly missed on the previous game drives. From the game drive, we transfer to the prime home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas- Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 12: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

At 08:00hours, you will be guided to the ranger station for registration and a briefing by the ranger guide. Then you will be taken into the impenetrable forest  to enjoy the beauty and freshness of the forest yet the home to over a half of the world’ mountain gorillas for your tracking experience.

The tracking activity takes 20 minutes – 8 hours and on meeting the Gorillas, at most one hour is allowed with them, some fitness is required. Please read about the Mountain Gorillas and Gorilla tracking here

A guided village walk through the Local Batwa Community in the evening, will be available should you be left with energy.

Day 13: Transfer to Akagera National Park in Your Rwanda

After breakfast, we transfer to Akagera National Park. The park lies largely in the Mubari–Migongo subregion which is located in the north-east of Rwanda, on the Tanzanian and Ugandan borders. The topography of the park is characterized by rolling sandstone hills in the west, cut in places by deep, narrow valleys. In the east, flood-plains and swamps are predominant. To the south of the Buganza, the Gisaka subregion is wetter. And to the north of Akagera is the Mutara subregion where the vegetation is dominated by open grasslands in which Themeda, Hyparrheniaand Cymbopogonpredominate, grasses characteristic of traditional pastoralism and repeated bush fires.

Over 50 species of mammals are known to occur at the site among which include the African Elephant which was introduced to the in 1975.

Day 14: Game Viewing and Launch Cruise on Your Rwanda Tour

rwanda-game-viewing-tours-adventuresEarly in the morning, we set out for the early raisers. We look out for the African Lions, a number of antelope species, African Elephant, Giraffe, Birds and much more.

We return to the Lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, we go for a Launch Cruise on Lake Ihema for game viewing at close quarters. The cruise usually breeds numbers of the Nile crocodile, Hippopotamus, grassland game as they come to drink by the shores, Waterfowl and much more.

Day 16: Dian Fossey Hike at Karisoke Research Centre in Rwanda

Dian Fosssey was an American naturalist who researched about and conserved Mountain Gorillas. She arrived in 1967 and set up the Karisoke Research Centre between Karisimbi and Visoke. From then on she spent most of her time in the park, and is widely credited with saving the Mountain Gorillas from extinction by bringing their plight to the attention of the international community. She was murdered by unknown assailants at her home in 1985, a crime often attributed to the poachers she had spent her life fighting against. Fossey's life later was portrayed on the big screen in the famous film “Gorillas in the Mist”, named after her autobiography. She is buried in the park in a grave close to the research center, and amongst the gorillas which became her life.

Day 17: Transfer to Kigali on a Rwanda Tour

Have breakfast then jump on the boat, we visit the coffee island, and also explore the wildlife on the waters as well as the island. In the afternoon, we transfer to Kigali for the last night.

Day 18: Transfer to Entebbe

Have breakfast quite early then embark on the journey to Entebbe. We have lunch enroute and later have a brief stop at the Equator for an informative talk as well as a photographic opportunity and the experience in both hemispheres. This drive takes you through beautiful scenery especially at the sighting of the Kigezi highlands which are sometimes referred to as the “Switzerland of Uganda” and also herds of the Ankole Long-horned Cattle
